If you want to play a round on one of
the most picturesque and enjoyable courses in Florida’s
naturally gorgeous east coast, Halifax
Plantation Golf Club is without a doubt the place
to be. In addition to the beautiful backdrop of lush century-olds-oaks,
towering pines and natural vegetation, this wonderful
course is designed to challenge both the novice and expert
golfer with its choice of elevated tee boxes and undulating
greens. This 18-hole, par 72, semi-private golfing masterpiece
is absolute bliss for any golfer.
The 18-hole, 6885 yard, par 72 Indian
River Club course in Vero
Beach is rich in breathtaking views, but

has an aura of 'Old Florida' with white sugar sand, large
clear lakes and marshes; the eastern quarter has hammocks
of old oaks and towering sand pines; and holes #5 and
#6 play along an ancient coastal sand dune with elevations
up to 48 feet. Another valuable feature of the course
is the excellent drainage. When many other area clubs

water, Indian River Club rarely closes.

greens, undulating fairways and deep pot bunkers. A blend
of exotic grasses in the roughs encourages the use of
many clubs - and the play of many shots. Adding an old-world
flavor to the course are mounds, wooden walls and giant,
landscaped bunkers. The River Course at Grand Harbor is
a testament to Joe Lee’s special genius for uniting
the game of golf with the wonders of nature. Weaving seamlessly
through salt marshes, along the Intracoastal Waterway
and around the residential islands, the River Course creates
